I’ve been facing an ongoing issue with my Square account that I’m hoping to get some guidance on. My account was recently compromised, and I’ve been working to remove an old, hacked phone number associated with it. Despite submitting all required documentation and following the instructions given by Square support, I’m still unable to replace the old number and proceed with verifying my account.
It’s been over three months now, and my account is still suspended, marked for ‘verification.’ The old phone number is no longer in my possession, but I can’t seem to get it removed, nor can I update it with my new number.
