Supporting older devices

I’m using the latest API and was wondering if square can create compatible code that works with older web browser. The code will need to use XMLhttprequest instead of await/async/fetch.

I ask this because I own two devices at home of which NONE support await/async/fetch.

They are:

Xtreme tablet running Android 4.4.2

Blackberry Q10 with a built-in keyboard and using the default browser.

Is there a way I can at minimum configure your API so that people can pay by regular credit card even if their browser is too old to handle async/await/fetch?
